POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager is responsible for overseeing all office operations of his/her respective location including personnel, marketing, sales, and customer relations. The manager initiates and enforces all policies to ensure that exemplary customer service is provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Maintains inventory to ensure availability for the customer.

2. Analyzes sales information and identifies current and future customer requirements and trends to meet profitability and customer service goals

3. Executes marketing strategies to meet profitability and customer service goals.

4. Approves all discounts and/or adjustments to any sale.

5. Analyzes and manages all warranty claims.

6. Provide estimates, process invoices, and accepts payment from customers and contractors.

7. Calculate amounts such as square footage, linear footage, area, circumference, volume, percentages, discounts, and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

8. Maintains professional and technical knowledge of products by participating in workshops or by participation in related professional organizations or societies.

9. Keeps maintenance records and coordinates repairs for all equipment and vehicles.

10. Maintains consistent attendance at the location during business hours and is available by cell phone. Must be available for emergencies as needed.

11. Effective oral and written communication with customers, employees, and vendors. 12. Maintain compliance with all legal requirements and ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.

13. Maintains a safe and clean office. 14. Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan, organize, direct, and monitor work through subordinate staff.

2. Conducts interviews and gives recommendations for employment.

4. Maintains staffing levels to meet customer service goals within budgetary guidelines. 5. Audits staff on Customer Service management system to ensure leads are followed.

6. Appraises performance, rewards, and disciplines employees addressing complaints and resolving problems.

7. Reviews employee's timesheets for accuracy before submitting them to payroll.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES):

  • Three year’s management or comparable supervisory-level experience in a related field.
  • Ability to calculate square footage, area, circumference, volume, percentages, discounts, and apply basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to create statistical reports, provide updates, and make sound managerial decisions based on findings in reports.
  • Interpersonal skills conducive to team building.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Word, Excel, Google Docs, and types 45WPM.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks for self and others.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
  • Knowledge of customer service management programs.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, workers’ compensation laws, and OSHA rules.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to frequently loud.
